Articles published in the International Journal of Research in Engineering are open access and licensed for reuse. Under the licence shown above, anyone may:
The one condition is attribution: you must credit the original authors and this journal, and indicate whether any changes were made. Reuse for a commercial purpose is not covered by the licence and requires prior written permission from the journal.
Authors publishing here keep the copyright of their own work. The journal does not require a transfer of copyright to the publisher. What the licence grants is permission for readers to reuse the article — it does not take ownership away from the author.
This also means authors are free to reuse their own published paper: in a thesis, in a later book chapter, in teaching material or on a personal website, without asking the journal for permission.
Authors may deposit the published version of their paper in an institutional repository, a subject repository, or a personal or departmental page. The journal follows the Sherpa/Romeo Green policy, so no embargo period applies and no separate permission is needed. Linking back to the article page on this site is appreciated.
A correct attribution names the authors, the article title, the journal name with its volume, issue and year, and the DOI. Every published article carries a Crossref DOI (prefix 10.33545) and the full citation is printed on each article’s abstract page, so it can be copied directly.
