Modeling and simulation of the installation height between the evaporation and the jacketed condensation sections in the loop heat pipe is studied in this work. The loop heat pipe consists of an evaporator, jacketed condenser and vapor line and liquid line with water as the working fluid. The jacketed condenser higher than evaporation section in this thermal module. The working fluid circulates through the evaporation section, vapor line, liquid line and jacketed condensation section. The vapor is condensed within the jacket annular space to heat the water. The theory of evaporating and condensing pressure drop theory has applied and has been compared to previous study in this work. The installation height of evaporation and jacketed condensation sections has been considered with the change of input heat under 150W. Results indicate that the installation height rises by increasing input heat and the installation height may be 30cm under the input of 150W. Results from this work can provide efficient basics in loop heat pipe heat exchanger with jacketed condensation section.
