Abstract:

In this work, a state monitor of steam using Paraconsistent Annotated Logic (PAL) was investigated to monitor and detect the changing and abnormal state of steam in the evaporator. The condition monitoring system of steam in the evaporator consists of a physical quantity converter, an extractor of evidence degree, a Paraconsistent analysis network(PANnet), and a Paraconsistent logic processor. Models for extracting evidence degree from the temperature and pressure of steam measured were proposed. The PANnet consisting of four paraconsistent analysis nodes (PANs) was also proposed. The PANnet transmits three normalized degrees of contradiction to the paraconsistent logic processor. The paraconsistent logic processor outputs three Bits and one normalized degree of contradiction representing the state of steam. The condition monitoring system has been applied to monitoring state change process and anomaly detection of steam in the evaporator and operated effectively. The condition monitoring system can be used for the condition monitoring and controlling of steam in evaporators producing steam.
